Ekwutosi Okeh C AdaNsukka Wins 2026 Empower Her Award by Wema Bank
It was a moment of pride, gratitude, and celebration as Ekwutosi Okeh C AdaNsukka emerged as one of the winners of the Empower Her Award 2026, an initiative by Wema Bank designed to recognize and support outstanding women making impact in their fields.
Sharing the exciting news with her followers, Ekwutosi expressed heartfelt appreciation to her Digital Witch Support Team and students, who rallied behind her throughout the process — even when she was offline.
According to her, the overwhelming support pushed her into the top five finalists, and she was announced as the first awardee of the day.
“I was offline, and all of you pulled up and showed off with me. Some of you even reached out to ask if I wasn’t participating. Digital Witch students took it personal… If there was anything like first position, I think I even came first. My name was the first to be mentioned and I was the first awardee too.”
The event proved to be both exciting and emotional. She recounted standing close to the First Lady of Lagos State, who even helped her properly position her award for photos. She was also interviewed by several news channels and brands present at the ceremony.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the surprise ₦2 million cash prize. Ekwutosi revealed that she and fellow winner Victoria also a Digital Witch student — initially expected only a recognition plaque. Instead, they walked away with cash rewards and additional gifts, including a branded travel bag.
The ceremony also featured notable personalities such as Funke Akindele and Daniel Etim Effiong, who served as the event moderator.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Ekwutosi concluded her message by celebrating women everywhere:
“Happy International Women’s Day to all women. May our light keep shining.”
Her win not only highlights her impact but also showcases the power of community support and collaboration in achieving remarkable milestones.
