A 24-year old final year Law student of Rivers State University was stabbed to death in her room.
Reports claim that the deceased whose name is Matilda Itonyo Mark was raped before being stabbed to death on Tuesday morning. Her body was found in a pool of her blood at her house, close to Eagle Island.
An ambulance accompanied by school security officers was seen at the scene of the incident, taking the corpse away from the scene.
At the time of this report, the school authority and Rivers State Police Command are yet to say anything about the incident.
