Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has signed the ₦1.84 trillion Rivers State 2026 Appropriation Bill into law, describing the development as a new chapter of cooperation, unity and progress in the state.
The governor expressed appreciation to Almighty God, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Rivers State House of Assembly and the people of Rivers State for their commitment to the process.
According to Governor Fubara, his administration’s focus remains on improving the welfare of Rivers people and ensuring the continued development of the state.
“Today, I signed the ₦1.84 trillion Rivers State 2026 Appropriation Bill into Law, marking a new chapter of cooperation, unity and progress.
“I thank Almighty God, the Minister of F.C.T; Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike GSSRS, the Rivers State House of Assembly and all Rivers people for their commitment to this process.
“Our focus remains firmly on the welfare of our people and the continued development of Rivers State.”
