HOW TO OPERATE ‘NO CREDIT’ POLICY ACROSS BOARD WITHOUT OFFENDING LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
This is quite simple.
- Assign sales, and collecting money to another employee. Remove yourself from it. If anyone comes to buy from you, direct them to your sales people.
Instruct the sale person to not sell on credit.
2. When the customer comes back to you to say that your sales person refused to sell to them on credit, you explain to them that it’s a new policy that was setup by your board of directors and the new investors you brought into your business.
You no longer sell on credit.
In fact, complain to them that you are struggling with other policies that they have setup and if you had known, you wouldn’t have gotten investors.
They will join you to blame the investors.
Then send them back to the sales person to go and pay.
The end.
Make sense?
PS: There are other formal options, but they may offend your loyal customers.
