Governor Nyesom WikeI has come out to say that he never Campaigned Against Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate. Gov Wike also said he agreed with the Integrity Group that Power Must Come to the South .
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike during the commissioning of a road project in the state on Thursday, explained that the Integrity group, which includes himself and four other governors – Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State had agreed to ensure that wherever the Labour Party was leading, the All Progressives Congress (APC) must come second, and vice versa.
Wike also he won’t be running for president again because power has finally rotated to the south, adding that he never campaigned against the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi because the Integrity group which is the G5 governors had vowed to ensure that anywhere the Labour Party was in the lead the APC must come second and vise versa.
