Manchester United are close to agreeing personal terms in principle on a five-year contract with Jadon Sancho, as discussions continue with Borussia Dortmund over the structure of the transfer fee.
Dortmund valuation for the England international is €120m (£108m) but reports suggest that they are open to accepting less money upfront.
They want an initial €100m (£90m) to fund a replacement for the 20-year-old – though it is very unlikely they would spend that amount of on a new signing.
Sancho, who registered 17 goals and 17 assists across 32 Bundesliga games last season is United’s No.1 summer target.
The German giants have set an August 10 deadline for the transfer of the England winger to be done, before they head to their Swiss pre-season training camp.
But if they are not able to complete the deal, the Red Devils could sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman on loan.
