HYBRID POSITION; 80% remote, 20% onsite.

LOCATION; Lagos.

SALARY; 250,000 Naira net.

JOB DESCRIPTION.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking to hire an experienced HR Manager to join our team based at our Lagos Nigeria Office for a period of 6 MONTHS(CONTRACT).
The ideal applicant should possess a strong ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality, and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

Reports to: CEO

RECRUITMENT AND ONBOARDING;
● Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified staff and volunteers for the company.

● Manage the recruitment process, including job posting, screening applications, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.

● Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation, policy review, and necessary paperwork.

● Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT;

● Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.

● Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

● Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

● Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT;
● Identify training needs and design/implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

● Coordinate and deliver training sessions on topics such as compliance, professional development, and organizational values.

● Support career development initiatives and provide guidance on internal mobility opportunities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
● Manage the organization’s compensation and benefit programs, including salary administration, insurance plans, and leave policies.
● Conduct benchmarking and market research to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
● Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND BUDGETING;
● Develop and monitor the organization’s annual budget in collaboration with senior management and product Owners.
● Conduct financial forecasting, analysis, and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
● Ensure alignment of financial resources with programmatic objectives and donor requirements.

FINANCIAL REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE;
● Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analysis.
● Ensure compliance with financial regulations, donor requirements, and accounting principles.
● Coordinate audits and assist in the implementation of audit recommendations.

GRANTS AND FUND MANAGEMENT;
● Oversee grants and funds management, including budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting.
● Monitor expenditures against budget and provide financial insights to management.
● Collaborate with program teams to develop project budgets and financial proposals for donor submissions.
ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL OPERATIONS;
● Manage day- to- day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
● Review financial transactions, invoices, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
● Maintain financial records and ensure appropriate documentation and filing.

Education and Experience:

● A minimum of five years of human resource management or its equivalent experience is preferred.
