Rhodes-Vivour polled 18 votes while Sanwo-Olu won with 29 votes.

In the Lagos State governorship election held today March 18th, 2023, the incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress emerged victorious at polling unit 01 located at Oshifila Street, Anifowoshe, Ikeja.

According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Sanwo-Olu secured 29 votes while Rhodes-Vivour managed to obtain 18 votes. Adeniran, on the other hand, received only two votes. However, one vote was declared void at the polling unit.

In the House of Assembly election that was also held at the same polling unit, the APC emerged victorious with 34 votes, while the LP secured 15 votes. The PDP could only manage to secure one vote.

The polling unit result is just one of the many units that were counted during the Lagos State governorship election. However, the outcome of this polling unit is significant as it shows the preference of voters in the immediate locality of the candidates.

It is worth noting that the Lagos State governorship election was highly contested, with several candidates from different political parties vying for the position. However, Sanwo-Olu’s victory at this polling unit is a clear indication that he has a significant amount of support in the area.

As the results of the election continue to trickle in, it remains to be seen who will emerge as the overall winner of the Lagos State governorship election. However, with Sanwo-Olu’s strong showing at this polling unit, he has certainly given his supporters a reason to be optimistic.
