Samson Erinfolami Balogun popularly known as Sam Larry aka Elegushi was Born in Lagos on 7th January 1980. He is a show promoter and Naira Marley’s closest friends Godfather, and also one of the leaders of the Marlian and No Mannaz movement as well as Malian Music . Sam Larry was born and brought up in Lagos Island, Lagos State.

Sam Larry gain media attention when controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable accused him of being the founder and leader of the One Million Boys cultist group.
In response to the allegations, Sam Larry quickly distanced himself from Portable and issued a stern warning, forbidding any further phone calls from him.
Later on, Portable clarified the situation, explaining that he had actually meant “One Million followers” on Instagram and never intended to mention Sam Larry’s name.
Beyond the Portable saga, Sam Larry is closely linked with the music industry, particularly with singer Naira Marley and Zinoleesky. He is counted among Naira Marley’s close friends and is an associate of Marlians Record.
Sam Larry and the Mohbad Death
Sam Larry found himself entangled in a controversy surrounding the unfortunate death of Mohbad. Numerous video recordings showed instances of Mohbad allegedly facing bullying, assault, and harassment, leading to suspicions pointing towards Sam Larry. This turmoil began when Mohbad decided to leave Marlian Music, a record label he was previously signed to.
In response to the mounting backlash and accusations, Sam Larry deactivated his Instagram account and limited comments, likely due to the increased scrutiny and negative attention fueled by his association with Naira Marley.
To address the allegations, Sam Larry released a video emphatically stating that Mohbad was like a brother to him, attempting to clear his name amidst the controversy.
