So…
A few years back…
I shared in a group I’m in, that my email open rates are generally above 80%…
And people in the group went nuts…
A marketer reached out to me and offered to promote my email system and split the profits…
Hehehehe…
Here’s the thing though…
I’m not about the open rates or comments and shares…

Engagement is defined in terms of the number of people who reach into their pockets and invest in themselves through your offers…
That’s the primary metric that counts…
Everything else is secondary…
If you have a list or group of 300 hundred people…
And your 300 people bring on 300k…
In other words each name on your list is worth 1000ngn…
Your 300 is more valuable than..
The 30,000 of another who brings in the same 300k as your 300.
Your primary job should be to increase the value per head of each member of your list or group…
The way to do that is still what I shared earlier…
- Build the audience
- Build a community of customers
- Convert your customers to clients
That’s pretty much all there is to it.
That’s the game you play until your at 40million Naira a year…
