AMANI’S FIRE : Impossible Is Nothing

AMANI’S FIRE is a clean and classy comedy event that started in 2018 in Port Harcourt by USIAKA God’spower Pedro better known as Prof Amani. Amani’s Fire so far has three successful editions. The first edition of AMANI’S FIRE was headlined by British Pastors, I Go Talk, Soma of Big Brother Naija, and Kelvin Sap.

Last year, Prof Amani took it to another level and brought Kenny Blaq, Desktalker, and other top comedians in Port Harcourt. This year’s edition has a theme ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ and it promises to be bigger and better with Sabinus confirmed as one of the headliners.
Other top comedians also billed to perform this year are Adviser, MC Monica, KO Baba, Danny Spry , Wonder D Talk and COXSON.

Speaking with Naira Diary on why he chose the theme, IMPOSSIBILITY IS NOTHING, Prof Amani said it’s because when he started comedy in 2016, a lot of people didn’t believe in his dream. He recounted how he mentioned to some people that he was going to sell out a 200-300 capacity hall in two-three years of his career and they were laughing and saying things like, ‘this one wey just come this industry want come dey sell out all shows’.

In his words, “i did it working , praying and branding myself. Today, I’m doing a 1000-capacity hall. So there’s nothing that is impossible.”
I was saying that in eight years time, I would bring an a list comedian to my show but in less than four years I have brought more than eight A list comedians including Kanny Blag, Dan D Humourous, Destalker , Sabinus and many others. This was something that looked impossible years back .
So impossibility is nothing. The theme is my way of letting people know that one can achieve anything by putting his mind to it and working to achieve it” , Prof Amani said.

AMANI’S FIRE is also designed to support growing comedians by giving them the platform to showcase their talents because we believe that we will rise by lifting the younger generation
