Barrister Inibehe Effiong is Backing John Obot’s Quest for Guinness World Record in Marathon Reading”

Inibehe shared a photo of himself holding a sign that declares, ‘I endorse the official attempt: 145 hours of Longest Marathon Reading Aloud.’

In his caption, he wrote, ‘In Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigerian John Obot is striving to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Reading Aloud, aiming for an impressive 145 hours. The current record stands at 124 hours.’

I paid a visit on Monday to offer my encouragement for this commendable endeavor, one that promotes a culture of reading and intellectual engagement in a time when social media has impacted people’s reading habits negatively.
