Delta State Commissioners and their portfolios

The Delta State Governor, Oborevwori assigned portfolios to the newly inaugurated commissioners.

The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday 22nd of August, 2023 inaugurated the newly appointed commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.

The event was held at the Dome Event Center, Asaba. The event witnessed the gathering of various personalities drawn from both current and past government officials. It was a ceremonious and historical event which gave a clear indication that the MORE agenda is already up to speed to meet with the demand of Deltans.

The newly State Executive Council comprises of a blend of experienced and youthful individuals who have distinguished themselves in their various fields and whose wealth of experience is needed to add more pedestal to the MORE Agenda.

After administering the oath of office to the new members of the State Executive Council, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori admonished them to see their new assignments as “A call to service.” He said with the constitution of the State Executive Council, the administration is about to embark on a new phase.

Lastly, he advised the newly sworn in commissioners to be proactive in executing and supervising projects which falls under their various jurisdictions while emphasizing the fact that there shall be no room for complacency and failure in this administration.
