Donseth Beat Explains What Caused The Problems Between Mercy Chinwo, Eezee Tee And Chidinma

In his Facebook post today, Donseth explained what happened before Mercy Chinwo left Eezee Concoptz . According, to him, Mercy Chinwo was not emotionally strong enough to handle the jealousy when Eezee Tee signed Chidinma.

Donseth said Wómen are naturally jealous and gathering them under a roof in a highly competitive business breeds extreme jealóusy, which leads to mood swings, and if unchecked, leads to depréssion, and at the point of depréssion, they could take irrational decisions that might destróy what has been built for years.

Read the full post “The very day EzeeTee signed Chidinma Ekile to his record label, I know he was in for a drama, it was just a matter of time.

By the virtue of my experience in the music business, I knew as I know my name, that things were not going to be the same again, but I couldn’t voice my reservation on social media, because the góspel music commúnity and their fans are always more emôtional than logical.

Have you ever wondered why Donjazzy never had two female artists on his label at the same time? I know in your mind, you have mentioned Dija. Yes, Dija and Tiwa Savage were not in any way in the same class, Tiwa was at that time the hottest female artiste in Africa, while Dija was just an upcoming artiste, she was as good as an experiment, and you already know how the story went.

Have you wondered what happened to Paul of P Square’s all-female band?
Wómen are naturally jealous and gathering them under a roof in a highly competitive business breeds extreme jealóusy, which leads to mood swings, and if unchecked, leads to depréssion, and at the point of depréssion, they could take irrational decisions that might destróy what has been built for years.

Signing Chidinma who has 8.2 million followers on Instagram, and who already had clout in the secular industry while Mercy was a little above 2 million, and also because Judy Kay and GUC were doing numbers and receiving good attention from the fans, that alone could emotionally destabilize a jéalous person who hasn’t grown strong emotional strength.

Considering the razmataz, paparazzi, and PR that heralded Chidinma’s cross which silently removed attention from Mercy was one of the strokes.

I knew deep down, those smiles and laughter were not coming from the heart, it was just for the gram and PR.
Mercy Chinwo leaving EzeeTee’s label even while her contract was remaining one year and one album was the height of irresponsibility.

So, if you were receiving a 50% royalty, and at the same time demanded to be allowed to book your shows and event yourself which they granted you, you book your events and never remitted money at some point, but they still allowed you.

For all the years you’ve been in the label, the company had one single Youtube channel which they spent millions to promote, and that didn’t stop you from having a personal channel just like GUC and co, so at what point did you notice that you were being ripped off?

Just less than a year before the expiration of your contract, you started swinging like a pendulum… You didn’t notice it all these while EzeeTee was spending millions, blóod, swéat, and water to put you in the spotlight?

To be continued…”
