From Choir Stalls to “I Do”: Esther & Jomata Seal Their Union at COZA White Wedding

Love truly found its rhythm in church, and this time, it led all the way to the altar.

Popular COZA City Music ministers Esther Orji and Jomata Isaiah have officially sealed their union, marking the beautiful climax of a love story rooted in shared praise, worship, and service in God’s house.

The couple first announced their engagement on December 5, 2025, via a collaborative Instagram post that featured stunning pre-wedding photos. The announcement was accompanied by a heartfelt caption that read:

“You are my today and all of my tomorrows. Counting down the days until I get to call you mine forever.”

What began as a harmonious partnership in the choir stalls soon blossomed into a lifelong duet. In the weeks leading up to their big day, the couple shared moments from their court and traditional weddings, as well as highlights from Esther’s bridal shower, which was thoughtfully organized by her friends and sisters. The event was filled with gifts, games, laughter, and heartfelt moments, all lovingly sponsored by friends.

Esther and Jomata took the big step on Saturday, January 24, as they exchanged vows at their church (white) wedding, held at the COZA Headquarters, Abuja.

The wedding ceremony was filled with joy, worship, and gratitude, and was well attended by family, friends, church members, and notable figures in the gospel music space. Among those present were key players in the music industry, including Ezekiel Thankgod Onyedikachukwu, founder of Nigeria’s biggest gospel music label, Okafor Chinonso Daniel, KO Baba, and several other ministers and creatives who came to celebrate the couple.

Moments after the ceremony, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, Senior Pastor of COZA, also shared his heartfelt congratulations. Although he was in the United States at the time where he spoke at the International Interfaith Conference in Washington, D.C. , he took to social media to celebrate the newlyweds.
