Nigerian netizens have been thrown into a frenzy since story of a girl in Port Harcourt that allegedly bought a Toyota Camry for boyfriend as Christmas gift surfaced. It was reported that the said girl had saved up 20 thousand Naira weekly for 2 years just to buy a car for her boyfriend, after a friend mocked him for not having a car.
However, upon further investigation it was discovered that the lady is not even Nigerian, and that the couple are Ghanaian Instagram and Youtube Couple. It was further revealed that the car story was just a publicity stunt and was never true. The couple were reported to have done similar stunts in the past.
