The first edition of MAYOR OF PITAKWA was on June 27th, 2021, at Aztech Arcum Port Harcourt. Though it was KO’s first attempt at telling the Port Harcourt story from his standpoint through comedy, the show recorded unprecedented success and of course, KO Baba cemented his position as the Mayor Of Pitakwa. Not only that, the show provided entertainment practitioners in Port Harcourt the standard metrics for measuring entertainment event success.
This year, KO Baba decided to go for what Naira Diary sees as the O2 Arena of Port Harcourt, EUI Event Center , a 5000 capacity event Center that hosted Burna Boy for the Home Coming Concert.
As at around 8 pm that our team got to the venue, there was no seat again, thank God the facility managers had extra seats and tables.
