Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, was born on 18 October 1993 in Lagos State, Nigeria. Raised in the central heart of Nigeria, Lagos State, he attended Christ the King College in Gwagwalada, Abuja, where he got the stage name “Odumodu” during his second year of junior high. At the age of 17, he relocated to Abuja with his family.

Odumodublvck’s passion for music led him to venture into the world of hip-hop, rap, and singing. He honed his skills and style, embracing a unique blend of genres that would set him apart in the afro music industry. His energetic and captivating stage performances soon caught the attention of music enthusiasts, leading him to join the prestigious hip-hop collective, Anti World Gangstars.

Record Deal and Debut Success:

Under the wings of Native Records in partnership with Def Jamz, Odumodublvck began his journey as a recording artist. On November 23, he released his debut song “Picanto,” a powerful collaboration featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan. The track made waves, earning him his first chart entry on the Nigeria TurnTable Top 100 at number 79 and later reaching number 65 on the chart.

Odumodublvck’s talents didn’t go unnoticed, and on 23 January 2023, he secured an impressive fourth spot on TurnTable’s NXT Emerging Top Artistes. The recognition catapulted him further into the spotlight.

A Near-Death Experience and “Declan Rice”:

In March 2023, Odumodublvck faced a life-threatening surgery, which he bravely survived. Just a few days later, on Friday, March 24, he released his emotionally charged single “Declan Rice.” The song’s unique 30-second intro became a phenomenon, setting Odumodublvck apart from other artists in Nigeria.

Arsenal’s Anthem: A Milestone Achievement:

The impact of “Declan Rice” went beyond music charts. West Ham United captain, Declan Rice, expressed his excitement as Nigerians sang his name, courtesy of Odumodublvck’s powerful anthem. On 15th July 2023, Arsenal Football Club announced the signing of Declan Rice and used Odumodublvck’s song in the background, solidifying the rapper’s influence in the sports world.

Collaborations and Awards:

Odumodublvck’s rising popularity opened doors for exciting collaborations with acclaimed artists such as Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, Joeboy, BNXN (Buju), and many more. His outstanding achievements were recognized at the Galaxy Music Awards, where he won the prestigious Next Rated Artist category, earning him a brand new Lexus IS 350 as part of the award.

Roots and Education:

Despite his stardom, Odumodublvck has not forgotten his roots. He hails proudly from Lagos State, Nigeria. For his education, he attended Enugu State University of Science and Technology, where he studied Computer Science, solidifying his intellectual prowess alongside his musical talent.
