Oga Sabinus Wins African Content Creator of The Year At RIMA 2023

Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu, also known as Mr Funny or Oga Sabinus, has won the highly-coveted award for African Content Creator of the Year at the 8th edition of the Rwanda International Movie Awards (RIMA) 2023. The event took place on April 1, 2023, at the Crown Conference Hotel in Rwanda.

Mr Funny is a renowned Nigerian skit maker known for his hilarious and relatable content. He has become a household name in Nigeria and beyond, with his skits going viral on various social media platforms. His unique ability to capture everyday Nigerian experiences in a humorous and entertaining way has won him many fans and followers.

The African Content Creator of the Year award is a recognition of Mr Funny’s exceptional talent and creativity in the content creation industry. The award comes as a result of his hard work, dedication, and consistency in producing top-quality skits that have resonated with audiences across the continent.

Prior to the event, Mr Funny shared a video on his Instagram page, showing him and veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), walking from the hotel to the award venue. The video garnered a lot of attention from fans and followers, who were excited to see the two entertainment icons together.

In addition to the African Content Creator of the Year award, Mr Funny also won the Readers Choice Awards for Best Skit, further cementing his status as a top content creator in Africa.
