Rev Simeon Afolabi, the serving overseer of FIRSTLOVE Assembly has unveiled the theme for this year’s National Convention ‘MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT’
The General Overseer of FIRSTLOVE Assembly, Rev Simeon Afolabi with his associates and Church leaders yesterday Oct 2nd, 2022 had an interactive session with pressmen in Port Harcourt ahead of their national convention next month.
Present at the press conference were correspondents from NTA Port Harcourt, Radio Rivers, Nigeria Info, RSTV and Henshaw Jacobson, a blogger who represented Naira Diary.
The press briefing presented an opportunity for questions and answers on the theme of the convention- ‘MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT’, why this year’s convention is different, the 2023 election and the church, the vision of the church, and more.
Pastor Simeon Afolabi also announced the guest speakers for this year’s edition – Bishop Emma Isong, Dr .I .S James, Dr. Dayo Brown, Bishop Ayo Odunayo, Dr. Sylvanus Ukafia, and Pastor Ben Omomia. The convention starts on November 1st – 4th.
Speaking during the press briefing, the resident pastor, Pastor Linus Ochai assured everyone of security during the convention maintaining that all is set for the 2022 national convention.
Meanwhile, Rev Simeon Afolabi spoke on the 2023 election, the future of Nigerian politics, highlighted what the public should expect from the convention, and more.

Evening session: 5:30 pm daily
