Tech Forward Conference 1.0 Set to Bring Together Technology, Business and Government in Lagos to Shape a More Trusted African Digital Economy on November 12

Inspired Global Media has announced the maiden edition of Tech Forward Conference 1.0, a high-level technology conference focused on the systems, partnerships and decisions required to build a more trusted digital economy across Africa.

The conference will hold on November 12, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom, Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, under the theme: “Building Trust in Africa’s Digital Economy.”

Africa’s digital economy is rapidly evolving, with fintech, payments, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital identity, digital commerce and technology-enabled public services transforming how people and businesses interact.

However, organisers say the success and sustainability of this transformation will depend on more than technological innovation. Trusted infrastructure, resilient systems, responsible practices, effective regulation, investment, standards and collaboration between the public and private sectors will also be critical.

Tech Forward Conference 1.0 will bring together stakeholders across technology, financial services, government, investment, business, regulation and innovation to examine what is changing, what comes next and what it will take to strengthen trust across Africa’s digital economy.

Key areas to be explored include fintech and payments, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital identity, digital commerce, trusted infrastructure, regulation, resilience, technology standards, investment and strategic partnerships.

Speaking on the conference, Abel Edoka, Founder of Inspired Global Media, said:

“The technologies transforming Africa are already changing how people transact, how businesses operate, how governments deliver services, and how capital moves across markets. The question now is how we build the trust and systems needed for these changes to be secure, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.”

He added that Tech Forward Conference 1.0 will create a platform for stakeholders who must work together to address these challenges.

Through its first edition and beyond, the conference aims to facilitate high-level dialogue, practical insights, strategic connections and collaboration among leaders shaping Africa’s digital economy.
