Black Friday: Suspected Kidnappers Murder Police Officers, Civilian in Auchi

No fewer than 4 Police Officers together with a civilian (Male) and a little girl who many say is the daughter of Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries have been gruesomely murdered in cold blood on Friday at Water Tanker Junction, Warrake Road, Auchi.

The incident reportedly transpired at about 5pm when an unidentified group of gunmen who eyewitnesses say had been parked in an ash Siena vehicle without number plates opened fire at the homecoming convoy of Apostle Johnson Suleman who has been away from the country.

Johnson’s vehicle is said to have been littered with bullets leading to the deflation of his vehicle’s tires but was able to coast to safety leaving his security personnel badly mutilated from the bullets of the suspected kidnappers who set out to abduct him.

An eyewitness told The Community’s Eye that after shooting sporadically for minutes, they (the gunmen) collected the arms of the slain Police Officers and sped off through the Warrake part of the road in escape.

The Police and officers of the army have however weighed in to calm the nerves of frightened residents, assuring them of security while investigations are expected to kick off to bring the criminals to book.
