FULL LIST OF COMMISSIONERS IN ADAMAWA WITH THEIR PORTFOLIO

GOV. FINTIRI INAUGURATES COMMISSIONERS

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has officially sworn in 25 new Commissioners, comprising 22 men and three women. The solemn investiture ceremony unfolded on Thursday at the distinguished setting of the Government House’s Banquet Hall.

Addressing the freshly appointed members of the state’s Executive Council, Governor Fintiri underscored the vital role they would play in the administration’s pursuit of progress. He exhorted them to approach their roles with a resolute spirit of victory, innovative thinking, and profound understanding in tackling every challenge that arises.

Amid the gravity of the occasion, the governor reiterated the essence of sound governance a commitment to serve the people, wherein trust remains inviolable. He cautioned against any form of betrayal of the public’s trust, underlining his intolerance towards incompetence or corruption.

The governor’s charge to the new commissioners was unequivocal — to place the well-being of the populace at the forefront and ensure the tangible realization of democratic dividends. Emphasizing the imperative of value addition, Fintiri stated that the new council should actively contribute to enhancing the art of governance within the state.

Acknowledging the formidable task ahead, Governor Fintiri cautioned that their journey would not be devoid of obstacles, including misrepresentation and attempts to undermine their efforts. Despite these challenges, he affirmed his unwavering support and called on them to confront their responsibilities head-on without fear of failure

Concluding his address, Governor Fintiri extended his best wishes to the new commissioners, fervently hoping for a tenure marked by success. He implored for the guidance, wisdom, and fortitude necessary to consistently make the right decisions for the benefit of the people they serve.

The new Commissioners and their portfolios include Barrister Wali Yakubu;
Youths Development and Sports, Dr John Ishaya Dabari; Commerce, Trade and Industry and Augustina Wandamihya; Finance.

Others are Usman Abdullahi will head Special Duties, Tijjani Maksha; Livestock and Fisheries, Umar Garba Pella;
Education, Prof. Finchiwa David Jatau; Agric and Abdullahi Adamu Prambe; Housing and Urban Development

Also on the list, include Joab Haggai Sahma; Land and Survey, Ibrahim Minjinywa Yayaji; Local Government Affairs, and Bello Hamman Diram; Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Reintegration.

Chief Felix Tangwami is now the Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Iliya James; Entrepreneurship Development, Ibrahim Haruna;
Mineral Resources and Kallamu Musa Mohammed; Transport Development.

Also Adamu Atiku; Works and Energy, Aloysius Babadoke; Couture and tourism; Emmanuel Piridimso; Budget and Planning, Mrs Nedo Geoffrey Kofulto;
Information and Strategy

The rest are Mr Titus Solomon, Rural Infrastructure and Community Development, Anthony Brina Wunfe; Women and Social Development, Mohammed Sadiq; Energy and Natural Resources and Ayuba Audu Tanko; Water Resources.
