IPOB WARNS THE NIGERIA ARMY OVER ALLEGED CONNECTION TO VIDEO…

The Indigenous People of Biafra has replied the Nigerian Army over the claim that the video that surfaced online, showing Boko Haram soldiers killing Nigerian soldiers, was a deliberate work of the IPOB to undermine the efforts of the Nigerian Military.

The group warned the Nigerian Army not to drag it into their “pitiful plight” in the fight against Boko Haram insurgency. The group made this known in a statement released on Thursday, 12th December, 2019, by the group’s PRO, Emma Powerful. In the statement, the IPOB faithful berated the Nigerian Army for belittling itself by involving the group in their feeble attempts to end terrorism in Nigeria.

The Public Relations Officer further relayed that the group has more important things to worry about, and so should not be dragged into issues as trivial as the case of intentionally doctoring and circulating a video like that online.
