The mother of the General Overseer of Hilltop International Christian Centre, Pastor Chris Oarhe died on Wednesday.

According to Rev Chris Oarhe, his mother, Rev. Mrs. Margaret Abunovo Oarhe Egbokhare died on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at the age of 85.

Announcing her demise, Rev Chris wrote;
“With Joy in our hearts, we announce the transition into glory of our mother, Rev. Mrs. Margaret Abunovo Oarhe Egbokhare who passed on to glory at the age of 85 on December, 21st 2022.

Also, his brother, Emmanuel Oarhe took his official Facebook page to yesterday to announce her passing to glory.

“My dear mum has gone to be with the Lord. Heavens gain and earth lose. Hmmmm. I will miss her but I am comforted. She handed the spiritual batton to us her children. A family of PASTORS we all turned out. She was a prayer warrior that runs 70 days to 100 days in prayers. Just guess her prayer points? Her children, grandchildren, and the church. Try me. She will raise prayer points that Angel michael will attend to immediately. Her stamina for the gospel was contagious. Until her call to glory, she was still very involved in kingdom activities. Age wasn’t a hinderance to her. She loved reading and singing her hymns. Rest on, MA, as we fondly call you. Pls remember us in your prayers…” he wrote .
