ThatAfricanMom Women Summit 2026 to Empower Women with Skills, Leadership and Financial Conversations in Port Harcourt on April 17–18

Something Powerful Is Coming to Port Harcourt: ThatAfricanMom Women Summit 2026 Set to Empower Women

A powerful gathering focused on empowering African women is set to take place in Port Harcourt this April as the ThatAfricanMom Women Summit 2026 brings together women ready to grow, lead, and thrive.

Scheduled for April 17–18, 2026, the summit is more than just an event — it is designed as a movement to inspire women to embrace their purpose, build sustainable ventures, and strengthen their communities. The theme for this year’s edition is “Rooted. Recharged. Ready: The True African Woman.”

The two-day event will kick off on April 17 with a Free Skills Acquisition Day, open to everyone. Participants will have the opportunity to learn practical, income-generating skills aimed at helping women create new opportunities and transform their personal and financial stories.

On April 18, the main summit will feature impactful conversations centered on entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, women’s wellbeing, leadership, and purpose. Attendees can expect inspiring discussions, networking opportunities, and insights from women making meaningful impact across different sectors.

The summit will also include a special recognition segment celebrating women who have made significant contributions by supporting girls, empowering small businesses, and strengthening communities.

Founded by Dr. Hafsat Akande, popularly known as ThatAfricanMom, the summit is built on a clear mission to raise confident African women who are rooted in their values, recharged in their purpose, and ready to take their place in the world.

Women who are building something, growing something, or becoming something are encouraged to be part of the experience as the summit promises a space for inspiration, learning, and community.

The event will take place in Port Harcourt from April 17–18, 2026.
