Zulayhat Bello ‘Zeaty’ Wins Naira Diary Impact Awards Most Impactful OAP 2022

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting Liberty FM in Abuja to recognize and present an award to the talented Zulayhat Bello, who was named the Naira Diary Impact Awards 2022 Most Impactful OAP. We were thoroughly impressed by her dedication to showcasing Nigerian stories and making a positive impact on the lives of her listeners.

At Naira Diary, we are committed to sharing Nigerian stories and uplifting voices from all over the country. Zulayhat’s work aligns perfectly with our mission, and we were honored to present her with this well-deserved recognition.

In addition to her work as a radio host, Zulayhat is also an accomplished compère and wedding MC. She intentionally creates content that showcases the rich Nigerian culture, with a particular focus on the Arewa community. Her unique perspective and approach make her stand out among her peers and have a significant impact on her audience.

Zulayhat was up against some tough competition in the Most Impactful OAP category, including seasoned professionals like Isinguzo Uzoma, Segun Awolabi, Sandra Ezekwesili, and Charles Alade. However, her hard work and dedication paid off, as she garnered an impressive 45.88% of the vote to take home the Naira Diary Impact Awards 2022 Most Impactful OAP.

Zeaty is a seasoned broadcast journalist, presenter, host, and voiceover artist with over 14 years of experience in the industry. Her love and passion for the creative industry started since she was 9 years old which motivated her to start her career very early. She worked as an On-Air Personality with Raypower FM Kaduna from 2008-2011 after which she continued her career with Liberty Radio and TVKaduna from 2012-2022 where she rose to the rank of Programmes Manager and later Head of Station.

She currently works Liberty Radio and TV Abuja as an OAP,radio and TV news caster and serves as the Head presentation.

She also works with NewAge Network Kaduna as a TV presenter and voiceover artist while simultaneously maintaining her independent career as a voiceover artist, presenter, and a highly sought-after host of a variety of programs and events all over Northwestern Nigeria and beyond.

Zulayhat Bello Gobir holds a B.Sc. in Mass Communication and is very passionate about women empowerment and health, girl-child education and child rights activism and serves as a contributing member in many organizations with similar missions in Northern Nigeria.
