WIP Founder Weneda Gift Ndu-Ajikeru Bags Kwame Nkrumah Prize for Excellence in Leadership
The Founder of Women in Port Harcourt (WIP), Weneda Gift Ndu-Ajikeru, has been honored with the prestigious Kwame Nkrumah Prize for Excellence in Leadership.
The award, presented by Initiative For Positive Influence On African Youth, recognizes individuals making significant impact across the African continent.
Sharing the news on social media, she expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, revealing that the honor also comes with a special designation as a “Beacon of Hope for Africa’s Development.”
“I am deeply honored to formally announce that I have been conferred with the Kwame Nkrumah Prize for Excellence in Leadership… This prestigious recognition designates me as a ‘Beacon of Hope for Africa’s Development,’ a title that reflects my lifelong commitment to the growth and prosperity of our continent,” she wrote.
She went on to appreciate everyone who has been part of her journey, noting that she does not take the support for granted.
Her achievement has since been celebrated by supporters and members of the WIP community, as she continues to champion women’s empowerment and youth development.
