Emeka Nobis, a writer, and thought leader who according to many is leading a change in the book writing space in Nigeria was in Lagos over the weekend for the grand opening of Worital BookPlace by Worital, a book publishing company in Lagos, Nigeria.
But we didn’t get much details about the event as there was no official press release from the company. It was only through Emeka Nobis’s posts on Facebook that we learned about his unveiling as the company’s brand ambassador.
Check out some of his posts below:
“Yesterday, the amazing Worital renewed my contract as Brand Ambassador for another one year.
I feel blessed.
Official pictures coming soon.
Please go and follow their page now and see the amazing plans they have for authors.

“Before the pandemic struck last year, Worital approached me to become Brand Ambassador for their brand.
When I asked why they chose me, they said, “We see the amazing strides you take in the book authoring and marketing space. You’ve got great values that we cherish and we want to work together with you to take book publishing and marketing to greater heights in Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.”
They sent me the contract documents. I read through and I was at peace with the contents. I looked at the company’s vision and mission and I found my brand in alignment. So, I accepted.
Because of the lockdown, my unveiling was virtual.
I immersed myself in helping the brand grow – sharing my ideas, coming up with strategies, reaching out to people, and creating strategic content that got clients publishing with the Worital brand.
Within one year, Worital went from doing 5000 copies of published books in a month to doing that number in a week. The growth has been phenomenal. The community of authors published with the brand is growing. What’s lovely is that Worital is heavy on relationships with all its published authors, creating a space where each of them can learn and collaborate and do better.
This year, they asked me to renew. I’m delighted. I accepted.
Last Saturday, I was live in Lagos to sign the dotted lines and accept to work with the brand again for another year. I feel like a star.
In this coming year, Worital will do amazing exploits.
Meanwhile, if you’re in Lagos today, I’ll be at the Worital BookPlaze, 6B Lanre Awolokun Street, Gbagada Lagos. Pop in, connect, enjoy the serenity, get books at 10% discount and let’s party.
Congratulations to Worital.”
