HOW TO MAKE FISHERMAN SOUP
INGREDIENTS
- Tilapia fish
- Onions (chopped)
- Pepper
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt
- Palm oil
- Prawn
- Uziza seed
- Achi (thickener)
- Periwinkle
- Sea snails
- Uziza leaves (wash and slice)
- Clams
- Crab
PREPARATIONS - Clean and wash the fish. Transfer it into a pot, add the chopped onion, blended pepper, salt, seasoning cubes, palm oil, water and bring it to a boil.
- Blend the uziza seed, sieve it and add the mixture into the pot.
- Wash all sea food (prawn, crab, periwinkle, sea snail, clams) properly and add them into the pot. Stir gently and let it simmer for few minutes.
- Taste for salt and seasoning cubes and add if necessary. Add the achi and stir gently. Add the sliced uziza leaves and let it simmer for 5min.
