Tottenham has finally snatched the chosen one, Jose Mourinho, off the market. This decision was made official yesterday, barely 24 hours after sacking Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino, who has been with the club for five years and some months, has been under fire recently following the poor performance of his team and the scandal rocking the dressing room. This season has seen the spurs grabbing only 14 points from 12 matches.
In an official statement released by the club on their website, the club revealed that they “… are delighted to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho as Head Coach on a contract that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season”.

He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won honours at every club he has coached. We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room.”
Also, when interviewed, Jose Mourinho, the newest coach in the EPL, confessed his belief in the Tottenham squad and cannot wait to work with the players.
