What at hand is not the same as what is in hand. This is the sixth day of the year 2020 and surely everyone is on their way back to work to face the daunting realities and challenges the third decade of the new Mia’s brought. Our pastors from our various denominations have given us several themes and mantra for the year. “MY YEAR OF MANIFESTATION OF HIS GLORY”. “MY YEAR OF BREAKING LIMITS”. “MY YEAR OF PLEASANT SURPRISES”. That’s very good. These are sure word of promises but your premise but align to the promises by traveling in the right trajectory.
For the promises to happen, you need a paradigm shift on your present premise. Because God does not just give us what we prayed for, he gives us only what we can managed. Why is because you must sustain what you obtain. Management premises matters to God before he can fulfill his promises. MANAGEMENT is defined as the effective, efficient, correct and timely USE of another person’s property and resources for the PURPOSE of which they were deleted with a view to PRODUCE the EXPECTED ADDED VALUE TO THE OWNER.
God makes promises indeed to his own children but as long as the heir remains a child, he must be kept under the custody of a faithful, competent and dedicated servant who knows how to run the estate successfully till the heir comes of age. My dear reader, are you ready to manage your 2020 requests and expectations? Well looking for me and you when he wanted to give our the mystery of Apple, Google, Microsoft YouTube and other many wonders of the digital age, but we were at choir practice, prayer vigil and crusades.
I have no problem with our commitments to the work of our father GOD in his vineyard, but I have a problem with the stinking that prayer falls in the success equation. NO, prayer falls in the revelation equation on your personal premises with the heavens expecting you to take personal responsibility to work out this divine inspiration and instructions into its manifestation.
We have been good in going to church. We have done well in giving. Many of us have zeroed our minds to put our first fruits into the hands of our pastors this year. Very good. Our pastors have lined up activities that will swamp you all this 2020. Let me tell you one truth, those who most don’t go to church everyday like you. Wake up this year and go out to war a good warfare with the promises on your premise.
Looking at Isaiah:54:1-3 1:
“Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Enlarge the PLACE of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”
GOD said you should enlarge the PLACE not the tent. The tent is fixed already. The tent is God’s promises. It’s being done. That’s the dream he showed you. That’s the house he showed you you will build or buy. The tent is done. What is left is for you to build a capacity to receive the promises. Just as you can not build a mansion on a half plot of land, so also you can not receive great promises on a weak, feeble and shallow premise. Answered prayer is regulated to the capacity you can managed.
